It is probably true that anybody who starts a blog likes to receive a ton of comments right away. In the movie, Julia/Julia, this did not happen and it will not happen here. Let me explain over again that Polynesian Dreams, my book, now free for the asking is a fantastic tale of my life, it twists and turns but the book is inspirational and I believe contains information that anybody who has an addiction or has bad habits that prevents him or her from reaching his or her potential an learn from. I will reveal a secret, I will be 80 on May 8, same birthday as President Truman, and I do not believe I could have written this book when I was young because I was still living it. March 19, 2010Polynesian Dreams was written when I lived in Hawaii. It is my life story with some interesting twists and turns. I grew up in The Netherlands during the German occupation and I write about this terrible ordeal. I joined the Dutch Navy on my 17th birthday, almost died in the West Indies, joined the Duch merchant navy, immigrated to the U.S. and was drafted in the U.S. Army, served in Bremerhaven, Germany as a M.P. and criminal investigator. Was discharged and now began a life of addiction, alcohol, amthetamines, other bad behavior and it drove me pretty near to total destruction until to what I call a miracle, I found my way back to a path that would lead to health, happiness and prosperity. How I did this is the story of Polynesian Dreams. It took me years to write but because I hope my story could serve as an inspiration for other that are addicted to something that keeps them from reaching their great potential, I will gladly email you a copy in PDF format.
